LONDON — Walmart sold off some of its patio chairs and camping chairs in a move to cut costs, but not all outdoor furniture, according to a report from The New York Times.
The retail giant will also sell a small number of other outdoor furniture items, the Times reported.
Walmart has been struggling to cut prices since it began selling furniture in 2008.
The retailer plans to sell its first outdoor furniture at its stores on July 16.
Walmart also said in March that it would phase out the sale of furniture at outdoor shopping centers and in stores by 2020.
