A 3-bedroom home in a rural Georgia town sold at auction for $2.8 million.
The home, built in 1899, was listed at a sale price of $3,933,819, according to the National Registry of Old Houses.
The seller was Richard C. Balsam of South Bend, Ind., according to an online listing.
Bumsam has owned the house for the past six years.
The buyer is a woman from the state of Georgia, the listing said.
Batsam has also owned several homes in Georgia, including two that were listed at auction in 2013 for $1.3 million.
